Changing title and strings of your website: Publication Language

To change the publication title you need to go to Edit Publication Language. There you can edit the title of your publication as the first item in the list of strings.

As you can see, this is also the place where you can change other strings for your website, such as "Last update" or "No search results found". To add items for your site, you need to edit the XML file "lang.def.xml" in your publication folder (the same folder where index.php and admin.php are located. This file contains the default value for all items. In the second step you can then use the admin interface to translate the default value into your languages.

If you add a new language for your publication with Add Publication Language, the default set is being copied to the language you wanted to add. Then you can translate it one by one with the Edit Publication Language form field. You can only add languages available in the system, i.e. the ones you added with Add System Set.

If you delete a language with Delete Publication Language, the XML files are removed. There is no undo option. After deleting it, it's gone.
