Export Docmint XML
The Docmint XML format exports the tree
structure, the content (i.e. the articles) and the notes (i.e. the user
comments) in XML 1.0 and the UTF-8 character set.
This means that images and files as well as
attributes and also registered users are not exported. This can lead to
problems after the import since the information on who edited and added content
to Docmint refers to the old IDs in the database from which you export. This
does not matter so much. But the attributes issue might. If you use Docmint out
of the box, chances are you don't need the attributes ever. As this page does
not use them. But if you decide to add special functionality, to customise
Docmint for your needs, the Docmint XML might not be your choice. Use MySQL
instead for a complete database dump.
