Import Docmint XML
The Docmint XML format imports the tree
structure, the content (i.e. the articles) and the notes (i.e. the user
comments) in XML 1.0 and the UTF-8 character set.
This means that images and files as well as
attributes and also registered users are not imported. This can lead to
problems since the information on who edited and added content to Docmint
refers to the IDs in the current database into which you import. This does not
matter so much. But the attributes issue might. If you use Docmint out of the
box, chances are you don't need the attributes ever. As this page does not use
them. But if you decide to add special functionality, to customise Docmint for
your needs, the Docmint XML might not be your choice. Use MySQL instead for a
complete database dump.
